Job summary

Staffingine LLC is seeking a SAP BTP Developer for a remote contract role. You will design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP BTP, leveraging CAP and SAPUI5/Fiori to build cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities include integrating SAP with external systems via SAP Integration Suite, securing access with IAS and XSUAA, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions. Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and CI/CD is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SAP development / cloud application development.
• Hands-on SAP BTP experience with CAP and/or SAPUI5/Fiori.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and/or Java.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite and CPI.
• REST APIs, OData, JSON, and OAuth expertise.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud and SQL.
• Understanding of BTP Cloud Foundry and app deployment.
• Git and CI/CD pipelines; cloud security awareness.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Develop cloud-native applications using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and/or SAPUI5/Fiori.
• Build and maintain integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite.
• Work with BTP services such as Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA Cloud, Destination Service, Connectivity Service, and XSUAA.
• Develop and consume REST/OData APIs and integrate SAP S/4HANA with external applications.
• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications where required.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security using SAP Identity Authentication (IAS), XSUAA, and related BTP security services.
• Work with SAP HANA Cloud for database design, development, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Follow development standards, CI/CD practices, version control, testing, and deployment processes.
• Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in SAP development / cloud application development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP BTP.
• Experience with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and/or Java.
• Experience with SAPUI5/Fiori is preferred.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData, JSON, and OAuth.
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and SQL.
• Knowledge of BTP Cloud Foundry and application deployment.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of cloud security, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Knowledge of SAP Event Mesh and event‑driven architecture.
• Experience with SAP Build Apps / SAP Build Process Automation.
• Knowledge of Kyma Runtime / Kubernetes.
• SAP BTP certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
