Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a seasoned SAP BTP – CPI Consultant in Seattle to design, develop, and implement integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI, and to handle inbound/outbound interfaces to cloud and on-premise systems.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate with client teams, and help optimize business processes. The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, Groovy scripting, and strong communication to ensure successful SAP CPI solutions in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing and implementing SAP CPI iFlows.
• Hands-on configuration with SAP CPI iFlows and APIM.
• Identify business process improvements and liaise between client and technical teams.
• Mentor junior team members and communicate with clients.
• Provide solutions to business users based on issues.
• Experience with interfaces and cross-module knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement and maintain SAP BTP-CPI module.
• Develop inbound/outbound interfaces cloud to on-premise and cloud.
• Extend standard iFlows and create custom iFlows.
• Handle data mappings, transformations and error handling.
• Work with various CPI adapters (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP).
• Use Groovy for value mapping and scripting, ensure security best practices.
• Support SAP CPI applications and perform testing and validation.
• Monitor performance and suggest improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities: We are looking for a motivated SAP BTP – IS /CPI Consultant with a passion for the manufacturing industry. As an SAP BTP - CPI Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting in various projects related to SAP BTP - CPI implementation tasks. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to implement & support SAP BTP-CPI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation: Configuring, implementing, and maintaining the SAP BTP-CPI module
• Experience in developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premise and Cloud instances of SAP Products
• Experience in configuration and extension of standard iFlows.
• Experience in defining custom iFlows, local & exception sub-processes, exception handling
• Expertise in handling various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver
• Knowledge on developing value mapping and Groovy and using it in iFlow
• Experience in handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
• Experience in using various CPI pallet options (integration patterns – message transformations, enricher, splitter, etc.) and experience in SAP BTP Experience in handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms and SSH keys
• Experience with EDI integrations, API management.
• Design interfaces and integration flows, and develop solutions to meet business needs
• Experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP HANA Cloud Integration, and SAP Process Orchestration
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using SAP CPI
• Testing: Creating test data, running tests, and creating and executing test scripts
• Continuous improvement: Monito ring system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending enhancements

Base Salary Range : $140,000 to $160,000 Per Annum
