Job description

We are looking for a SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Developer to build and deliver cloud-native extensions, integrations, and intelligent manufacturing solutions for enterprise SAP landscapes.

This role focuses on hands-on development across SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, APIs, and manufacturing system integrations. The Developer will work closely with SAP architects, manufacturing technology teams, and business stakeholders to implement scalable solutions that extend SAP S/4HANA capabilities without modifying the core ERP system.

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP development skills with experience integrating manufacturing platforms such as MES, PLM, IoT, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BTP Application Development

• Develop cloud-native applications and extensions using SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Build SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) services and applications.
• Develop SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications and user interfaces.
• Create SAP S/4HANA extensions following clean-core principles.
• Configure and deploy applications within SAP BTP environments.

SAP Integration Development

• Build and maintain APIs connecting SAP S/4HANA with manufacturing and enterprise systems.
• Configure integration flows, mappings, transformations, and monitoring.
• Support event-driven integrations using SAP Event Mesh and messaging patterns.
• Troubleshoot integration issues across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Manufacturing System Integration

Develop integrations between SAP and manufacturing platforms including:

• MES systems (Siemens, Rockwell, Plex)
• IoT platforms
• Supply chain applications

• Support shop-floor data connectivity and enterprise process automation.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into technical solutions.

Data & Analytics Enablement

• Develop services supporting manufacturing analytics and operational visibility.
• Support SAP Datasphere and reporting integrations.

Build data models and APIs supporting manufacturing KPIs including:

• OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• Quality metrics
• Supply chain visibility

Technical Delivery & Collaboration

• Participate in solution design discussions with SAP architects.
• Develop technical specifications and documentation.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and deployment issues.
• Follow SAP development standards and DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years SAP technology development experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform.
