• Lead architecture and strategic direction for telecommunications billing, payment, and mediation platforms, aligning technology with business goals.
• Design and integrate end-to-end billing systems, ensuring seamless connection with product catalogs, ordering platforms, and downstream financial/reporting systems.
• Drive large-scale billing migrations and modernization efforts, ensuring data fidelity, minimal revenue leakage, and robust reconciliation between legacy and new systems.
• Guide data architecture and modeling, enabling accurate revenue recognition, regulatory reporting, and enhanced operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ASC 606, GAAP, SOX, and support federal/state regulatory audits and reporting.
• Optimize accounts receivable and revenue journaling processes, leveraging automation for transparency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with agile delivery teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and accelerate speed-to-market.
• Provide leadership and guidance on best practices for billing and revenue management, leveraging SAP BRIM and other major billing systems (Amdocs, Oracle BRM, CSG).
• Utilize cloud-based and next-gen technologies, including GCP, AWS, and analytics tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Required skills and experience: 10+ years in telecom OSS/BSS, hands-on with billing/revenue migrations, strong knowledge of North American telco products, regulations, and reporting frameworks.
• Educational requirements: Bachelor’s in IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Certifications: BRIM, FICA, FSCM preferred.
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and acting as a techno-functional consultant.
