Job summary

Interior-Specialists,-Inc seeks an experienced SAP BDC Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain data integration across SAP and Azure. You will connect SAP BDC with Azure Data Factory for reliable data flow into ADLS, then lead migration from ADF to native SAP Datasphere pipelines feeding Power BI.

The role involves building analytical datasets, exposing SAP data via APIs, and ensuring data quality and secure connectivity across platforms.

Qualifications

7+ years of SAP data and analytics experience with SAP BDC and/or SAP Datasphere.
Strong experience configuring SAP Datasphere as a data source and building native data flows.
Exposure of SAP data via OData services, REST APIs, or Open Connectors from within SAP BDC/Datasphere.
Publishing SAP CDS Views from S/4HANA into Datasphere as the extraction layer.
Experience with Azure Data Factory — maintaining pipelines and SLA adherence.
Experience connecting SAP Datasphere to Power BI with live connection or DirectQuery.
Solid understanding of SAP data models across modules (FI/CO/SD/MM/PS).
Strong SQL and data transformation skills within SAP Datasphere and HANA Cloud.

Responsibilities

Configure SAP BDC and Datasphere as the primary data source with data flows and endpoints for ADF.
Design and maintain data integration solutions including ingestion, transformation, replication, and orchestration.
Expose SAP data via OData REST APIs or Open Connectors for ADF and downstream use.
Define and publish SAP CDS Views from S/4HANA into Datasphere as the extraction layer.
Set up remote tables, replication flows, and data persistence layers within Datasphere; enable delta/CDC.
Manage authentication and secure connectivity between SAP BDC and Azure (OAuth, service principals).
Maintain existing ADF pipelines during transition; plan migration to native Datasphere data flows.
Build and optimize Datasphere datasets and semantic models for direct Power BI use.
