Job summary

Elfonze Technologies seeks an experienced Lead SAP Basis professional to own end-to-end service delivery for a complex SAP landscape including S/4HANA and ECC. This hands-on leadership role requires operating across OS/DB layers, mentoring the Basis team, and acting as the primary client contact for escalations.

The candidate will anchor second shift and extend coverage for critical incidents, ensuring SLAs are met and continuous improvement is driven.

Qualifications

• Core SAP Basis administration across S/4HANA and ECC, hands-on end to end.
• SAP LaMa (Landscape Management) for landscape operations and automation.
• SAP Focused Run (FRUN) for monitoring, alerting, and system management.

Responsibilities

• Own operational stability of the SAP landscape across production and non-production.
• Lead high-severity incident resolution and root-cause analysis—hands-on in the system.
• Drive Basis AMS activities: monitoring, transport management, client copies, patching, upgrades, and runbooks.
• Plan and execute system refreshes, migrations, upgrades, and DR drills.
• Ensure change, incident, and problem processes with SLA compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Basis team and manage shift coverage.
• Provide lead coverage during second shift and key windows.
• Build technical depth to reduce single-person risk.
• Oversee performance management and growth conversations for reports.
