Job summary

BravoTECH is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Support Consultant to administer, monitor, and support enterprise SAP environments. This hands-on role focuses on availability, performance, and reliability across development, QA, and production landscapes.

The ideal candidate will manage transports with TMS, perform system refreshes, and assist with upgrades. Strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration are essential, with on-call rotations for critical production issues.

Responsibilities

SAP Basis Support Consultant

Support and Optimize Enterprise SAP Environments Must be a US Citizen and 100% remote We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Support Consultant to administer, monitor, and support business-critical SAP environments. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, stability, and reliability of SAP systems across development, QA, and production landscapes. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP Basis administration and production support experience and is comfortable troubleshooting complex system issues, managing transports, performing system refreshes, and supporting upgrades and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support SAP environments, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and related SAP platforms.
• Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, logs, background jobs, and interfaces.
• Troubleshoot SAP Basis and production issues and drive incidents through resolution within established SLAs.
• Manage transports across development, QA, and production environments using SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
• Perform system health checks, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
• Support SAP installations, upgrades, patches, and kernel updates.
• Perform client copies, system refreshes, and environment configuration activities.
• Monitor and manage SAP background jobs, system logs, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, network, security, and functional teams to resolve cross-platform issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and operational standards.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance and on-call support for critical production issues.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration and production support.
• Strong understanding of SAP landscape architecture across development, QA, and production environments.
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining SAP systems.
• Experience with SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and transport administration.
• Experience performing system refreshes and related SAP environment activities.
• Knowledge of SAP startup/shutdown processes, background jobs, system logs, and job scheduling.
• Working knowledge of database technologies such as SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux/Unix operating environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple incidents and support requirements in a production environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams.
• Availability to participate in on-call rotation and scheduled after-hours maintenance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager or comparable SAP monitoring tools.
• Exposure to cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of SAP security and access concepts.
• SAP Basis administration certification or related SAP certification.
