Motion Recruitment is seeking an SAP Architect for a leading energy and utilities company in Columbus, OH. This is a 6-month W2 contract-to-hire with benefits, focused on solution design, technical/functional oversight, integration, and testing within a complex SAP environment.

The role requires expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP/Integration Suite, SAP Service Cloud/C4C, and SAP Utilities, with cross-team coordination and a track record of delivering multi-vendor SAP programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business or related field.
• 7+ years SAP solution delivery experience.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite, Fiori, Service Cloud/C4C experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end SAP functional and technical oversight for M2C and Customer Service.
• Oversee design, configuration, customization, and integration of SAP apps.
• Review and guide RICEFW development aligned to program requirements.
• Lead SAP testing activities including unit, SIT, UAT, regression, and performance.
• Coordinate with vendors, third parties, and internal teams for delivery.
• Support deployment, cutover, hypercare, and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure SAP security, access controls, and GRC compliance.
• Promote DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring.

Our client, a leading energy and utilities company, is seeking a SAP Architect to join their team!

**This is a 6-month W2 contract-to-hire with benefits**

This is SAP Architect role focused on solution design, technical/functional oversight, integration, and testing within a complex enterprise SAP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP/Integration Suite, SAP Service Cloud/C4C, and SAP Utilities, along with experience coordinating across internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end SAP functional and technical oversight for Meter-to-Cash (M2C) and Customer Service processes.
• Oversee the design, configuration, customization, and integration of SAP applications, including S/4HANA Utilities and SAP Service Cloud.
• Review and guide RICEFW development, ensuring alignment with overall program requirements.
• Lead and oversee SAP testing activities, including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
• Coordinate with vendors, third-party service providers, and internal teams to ensure successful SAP delivery.
• Support deployment, cutover, hypercare, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Ensure SAP security, access controls, and GRC requirements are properly designed, implemented, and tested.
• Promote DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and SAP monitoring best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP solution delivery, including design, configuration, development, and integration.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP/Integration Suite, Fiori, and SAP Service Cloud/C4C.
• Experience with one or more specialized SAP areas such as FICA, Billing, Regulatory, or SAP Utilities.
• Experience with SAP implementations in complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP integrations, RESTful APIs, and middleware technologies.
• Experience with SAP testing across unit, SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
• Knowledge of SAP security, GRC Access Control, and compliance requirements.
