Job description

BCTG’s direct client is seeking a hands-on SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the technical template design lead for a global S/4HANA implementation. This role requires deep expertise in SAP’s Advanced Intercompany Sales (AIC) processes and the ability to partner closely with business and implementation teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical design authority and solution lead for SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales within an S/4HANA environment.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand cross-entity sales, inter and intracompany transfers, consignment, procurement, and return processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
• Analyze, design, and implement end-to-end supply chain scenarios across selling, shipping, and billing entities.
• Lead solution design for inbound/outbound and financial integrations, including interfaces across BTP, Cloud, and legacy systems.
• Identify functional and technical gaps in SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales, collaborating with SAP and System Integrator partner teams to define and implement necessary customizations or enhancements.
• Ensure seamless integration with master data, pricing, tax, and logistics, warehouse processes.
• Provide hands-on configuration, testing, and solution validation across multiple business units.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT and business leaders, translating technical solutions into business outcomes.
• Align on Fit-Gap requirements, and RICEF design to support Advanced intercompany process

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience with deep functional expertise in SAP SD, MM, and strong product and roadmap knowledge of SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales.
• Proven experience as a hands-on configuration SME leading design and build activities.
• Strong understanding of cross-company sales, intracompany transfers, returns, and intercompany billing processes.
• Experience integrating SAP AIC with finance, logistics, and master data functions.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and Cloud platform integrations.
• Experience collaborating with external partners such as SAP and Accenture to deliver enhancements and resolve system gaps.
• Background in pharmaceutical or medical device industries required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Must be local to Bridgewater, NJ and able to work onsite three days per week.
