Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a SAP specialist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP, MDG and S/4 HANA, focusing on Material Master data, BOM, routing and related configurations.

Responsibilities include design, configuration, development across multitiered SAP S/4 environments, and strong ABAP workflows, reporting and interfaces. US PST business hours apply.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years SAP ABAP, MDG and S/4 HANA experience in material data
• Hands-on ABAP, Fiori, S/4 HANA, ALE/IDOC, SQL and SAP Queries
• Design and development in S/4 HANA multitiered environment
• Strong knowledge of Material Master data (Class/Characteristic/Classification, BOM, routing)

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration and development in SAP environments
• ABAP reporting, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows
• Provide development support, testing and debugging
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams during cutover cycles

Job Description

• Core SAP Expertise: 3 to 5 years' experience in SAP ABAP, MDG and S4 HANA; with hands-on experience in Material and BOM master data domain
• Practical level experience with ABAP, SAP Fiori, S/4 HANA, ALE & IDOC processing, and SQL & SAP Queries
• Design, Configuration and Development experience in SAP S/4 HANA multitiered environment
• Hands-on experience and working knowledge of SAP Material Master data including Class/Characteristic/Classification, Bill of Material (BOM), Routing, Work Center, and Production Version configurations and table structures
• ABAP, including Reporting, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement, Forms and Workflows (RICEFW) with exceptional functional knowledge in the areas of SAP Materials Management and Production Planning
• Behavioral Expectations: (1) Ability to work in high-pressure, milestone-driven environments, (2) Ability to extend hours during critical cutover cycles, and (3) Strong problem-solving mindset, ownership of deliverables, and communication in cross-functional teams
• Time Zone: US PST business hours

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 a year
