Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a SAP ABAP Architect to design, develop, and deliver SAP ABAP solutions aligned with client standards. You will collaborate with business and functional teams to provide best-fit technical solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer to enable value-adding consulting outcomes.

The role requires extensive ABAP experience (OO ABAP, RICEF, Fiori, UI5) and strong data interface, performance tuning, and documentation skills; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
• At least 7 years of information technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP code including RICEF components.
• Work on ABAP OO concepts and performance tuning.
• Develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 framework.
• Assist with interface development (ALE/IDocs, BAPI, RFC) and data conversions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure release management and quality standards.

Job description

Infosys is seeking a SAP ABAP Architect

This position will require a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred qualifications

Must have at least 7 years of SAP ABAP experience having worked in SD/MM/FICO/PS/HCM/PM modules technical requirement of SAP with below technical skill set

Hands on development experience in RICEF and Core ABAP areas such as -

Reports: Classical, Interactive and Module pool programming

Interfaces: Experience in ALE/IDocs , SXDA, BDCs, BAPI, RFC Interfaces and File transfers

Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Spots

Proficiency in areas like Data Dictionary, debugging and Performance Tuning

Expertise in OO ABAP.

Forms: Smart forms/Adobe forms

Fiori App Development using the BAS Tool , RAP Programming, OData Services, Webservices, BTP, CDS View

Addon advantages technical knowledge S/4 HANA Modules Niche skills like PS , PPMO, SAP MES Application.

Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 framework.

Responsible for a full range of programming tasks including software integration, external interface development and technical documentation.

Designs and develops most aspects of data conversion.

Develops and builds application tables and reports for projects.

Troubleshoots and resolves testing issues.

Should follow Quality standards

Responsible for code reviews and release management

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ: $96,000 to $134,400
In Washington, DC: $85,600 to $129,000
