IBM Consulting is seeking an Application Developer specializing in SAP ABAP HANA to design, develop, and support advanced ABAP solutions. You will work on HANA-based components, re-engineer complex modules, and ensure performance using ADT, ADBC and native SQL across multi-platform environments.

Ideal candidates bring deep SAP S/4HANA ABAP and Fiori experience, with RAP and clean-core approach, and strong consulting skills.

Qualifications

• Expert in S/4HANA ABAP architecture and Fiori configuration.
• Strong background in SAP S4 ABAP and FIORI development.
• Experience in RAP methodology and clean core approach.
• Experience in S4, Fiori, CVA, SAP ADT and BAS.

Responsibilities

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in SAP ABAP HANA, you will design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on the HANA version of Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). You will work on designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components, integrating software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Develop Applications: Design, develop, and support application solutions with a focus on HANA version of ABAP, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery of solutions.
• Integrate Software Packages: Integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms, leveraging knowledge of SAP HANA Technical Concept and Architecture.
• Re-engineer Application Components: Re-engineer highly complex application components to optimize performance and efficiency, utilizing Data Modelling using HANA Studio and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Ensure Code Performance: Ensure code performance adheres to Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA, utilizing ADBC, Native SQL, and ABAP Core data Services.
• Consume HANA Live Models: Consume HANA Live models, leveraging knowledge of Data Base Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA, and HANA Live models consumption.

• Strong background and experience in SAP S4 ABAP and FIORI development

• Experience in S4, Fiori, CVA, SAP ADT and BAS
• Experience in creation and working with SAP authorization objects
• Citizenship in European Union country (no dual citizenships)
• Fluent in English
• Strong consulting/facilitation skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred technical and professional experience

• HANA Live Models Consumption: Experience with HANA Live models consumption, Text Search, and ALV on HANA, with the ability to leverage these technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Data Modelling Expertise: Working knowledge of Data Modelling using HANA Studio, with the ability to apply this expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Native SQL Proficiency: Experience with Native SQL, with the ability to integrate this technology into application solutions.
