Job summary

Stellent IT LLC is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support a cloud migration and S/4HANA transformation initiative. The role focuses on custom code remediation, SAP upgrade activities, SPDD/SPAU adjustments, technical development, and post-migration stabilization.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on ABAP development experience and a proven track record with SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience with SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Proven SPDD and SPAU processing and remediation experience.
• Strong experience in custom code remediation and S/4HANA adaptation.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench, enhancements, debugging, transports, and object dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Support ECC to S/4HANA and cloud migration projects.
• Analyze and remediate ABAP code for S/4HANA and cloud compatibility.
• Perform SPDD and SPAU analysis, adjustment, testing, and documentation.
• Review SAP upgrade changes and remediate impacted custom objects.
• Adapt custom code for S/4HANA simplifications, deprecated objects, and changed data models.
• Develop and enhance reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, APIs, and OData services.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, and technical defect resolution.
• Support technical design and code remediation decisions throughout the migration.
• Maintain documentation for custom objects, SPDD/SPAU adjustments, transports, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with Functional, Basis, Migration, Testing, and Architecture teams.
• Support cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Follow clean coding, performance, security, and target-state SAP development standards.
