Job summary

American Automotive Company seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a 12-month contract in Austin, TX. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying SAP solutions with ABAP, Fiori, UI5, and BTP.

Responsibilities include full lifecycle SAP projects, collaborative work with cross-functional teams, and maintaining technical documentation. Hybrid work schedule, with Tue-Thu onsite and Mon/Fri remote; compensation is $75-78/hour on W-2 plus benefits/PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP development experience.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming including RESTful programming, CDS views, and modern extensibility concepts.
• Strong experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, or others.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP tools and services including SAP Build Work Zone, Business Application Studio, and Git.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications on the SAP BTP platform.
• Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments including S/4HANA upgrades and ECC to S/4HANA migrations with code remediation.
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform, RISE, and SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, BAPI, SOAP, REST).
• Certification in SAP technologies is highly preferred.

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid, Tuesday-Thursday onsite and Monday & Friday remote) Pay: $75-78/hr W2 + Benefits/PTO Overview: Seeking an experienced SAP developer to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions including enhancements, customizations, and integrations using SAP BTP, ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and related technologies (e.g., CAP, HANA Cloud).

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions, including enhancements, customizations, and integrations using SAP BTP, ABAP, SAPFiori, SAPUI5, and other SAP technologies (CAP, HANA Cloud, etc.). Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP projects, from requirement gathering and analysis to go-live and post-implementation support. Work closely with functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Adhere to clean core guiding principles, adapt cloud-based applications using SAP Cloud Platform tools and technologies, and embrace a cloud mindset. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

Required Qualifications / Technical Skills
