Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a plant sanitation worker at Canyon Bakehouse in Colorado to uphold sanitation and safety standards. You will clean assigned areas and equipment, dismantle and reassemble for cleaning, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality requirements.

The position runs Wednesday to Saturday, 10 AM to 8:30 PM, with potential for additional evening/weekend hours. Starting pay is $23.65 per hour with a 90-day raise to $24.90 and a strong total rewards package

• No educational prerequisite; however candidate must be able to read, comprehend and record necessary information.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas and/or machinery to sanitation standards as required by company, regulatory agency and customers.
• Dismantles equipment for cleaning and reassembles after cleaning.
• Practices and complies with all company policies and procedures including safety and work rules.
• May assist receiving clerk as necessary.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
• Adheres to attendance policies and other operating rules.

Bringing Home the Dough

Performs a variety of cleaning duties to ensure that plant meets/ maintains sanitation standards of company, industry, customer and/or governmental agencies. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Cleans assigned areas and/or machinery in accordance with company, regulatory agency and/or customer standards. Dismantles equipment for cleaning and reassembles.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety and work rules, etc.
• May assist receiving clerk as necessary.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures

Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications

• Six or more months related experience.

Salary Range - $23.65

90 Day Raise - $24.90

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday

10AM - 8:30PM

Opportunity for additional $2 per/hour on evenings and weekends
