Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Aiea, HI is seeking a full-time sanitation technician to clean and sanitize production equipment and surrounding areas, ensuring safe, thorough, and on-time operations.

You will operate cleaning tools including floor scrubbers, follow PPE and chemical handling procedures, complete paperwork, and support other production tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a Sunday–Thursday shift from 22:00 to 06:30.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 20–45 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to lift 30–40 pounds repeatedly and perform mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and surrounding work areas using approved tools and chemical agents.
• Perform sanitation tasks to support food safety and quality standards.
• Follow safety and food safety standards, including PPE and chemical handling.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation for sanitation duties and checks.

Clean and sanitize production equipment to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing to communities safely, thoroughly, and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and surrounding work areas using approved tools and chemical agents
• Perform internal and/or external sanitation tasks (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing) to support food safety and quality standards
• Follow all safety and food safety standards, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling procedures
• Complete required paperwork and documentation to record sanitation duties, checks, and assigned tasks
• Use industrial cleaning equipment (and may operate equipment such as a floor scrubber or forklift) and support other production duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Position requires lifting/carrying between 20 and 45 pounds repeatedly over a long work period (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires lifting/carrying containers weighing approximately 30-40 pounds repeatedly (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires pulling cleaning equipment, kneeling, climbing, crawling, bending, standing and crouching while using cleaning equipment (with or without accommodation)
