Job summary

Openwork is seeking diligent candidates for a full-time overnight cleaning position based in Macon, GA. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, able to perform physical work, and can work overnight hours. Experience in sanitation or food production cleaning is preferred, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overnight hours (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM).
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, floors, and work areas.

Position Details

• Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (Overnight)
• Location: Macon, GA
• Pay: $16.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Full-time, long-term opportunity

Job Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, floors, and work areas.
• Removing waste and disposing of trash properly.
• Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines (GMPs).
• Supporting production teams by maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Performing additional cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to work overnight hours (9:00 PM – 5:30 AM).
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Previous sanitation, janitorial, or food production cleaning experience preferred (but not required).
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
