Clean, set-up, operate, and tend continuous flow of systems such as; scales, blenders, hoppers, extruder, dryer/cooler, packaging, according to customized order descriptions. All employees are expected to immediately communicate any food safety or quality issues to their manager for resolution.

Necessary Competencies For Systems Operators Include The Following
READ & COMPREHEND - Able to read customized orders and interpret stated information. Able to read SOPs, policies and procedures, and all related quality and safety information.
DOCUMENT- Gathers and accurately records data on a customized order packet and production tracking system.
COORDINATE—Able to sequence and prioritize tasks to accomplish production goals.
COMMUNICATE—Able to communicate clearly while working in a team with systems partner and systems supervisor to pro-actively avoid delays in the process.
DECISION MAKING—Makes informed decisions and knows when to ask for help.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/BEHAVIORS – Deals with individuals in a tactful manner. Able to associate with PacMoore customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to give a positive impression of the Company.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH—Exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
PHYSICAL MOVEMENT—Occasional climbing, stooping (bending body forward and down), crouching (bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine), reaching (extending arms and hands in any direction), and handling (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands).
DUTIES
System Operator’s Main Duties Include
Sets up system - Assembles a custom system station using machine units, based on a customized order.
Operates and monitors -Inputs product into a system station in containers such as bags, boxes, drums and super sacs. Monitors operations for quality and standards. Fills and packages product in containers such as bags, boxes, drums or super sacs. Off-loads product containers onto a pallet for transport.
Cleans machinery - Uses a dry clean process and/or a wet wash process to thoroughly clean systems and systems units according to standards and process requirements.
Food safety - Understands and monitors Critical Control Points (CCP’s), and understands and conforms to all food safety and HACCP guidelines within the scope of responsibilities.
Additional Responsibilities
General responsibilities include:
Works on an as-needed basis.
Arrives on time and prepared.
Promptly punches in and out.
Wears a required uniform.
Participates in exercise regime before shift start.
Displays proper hygiene habits (clean hands, body, hair, clothing, etc.).
Willingness to wear required safety gear at all times (hair net, beard cover, ear plugs, hard hat and safety mask).
Handles PacMoore property safely and with care as to avoid unnecessary destruction and contamination.
Washes hands after breaks and lunch.
Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Understands and conforms to all food safety and HACCP guidelines within the scope of responsibilities.
Observes policy and procedure manual guidelines and the employee handbook.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Conditions include exposure to constant or intermittent noise. In addition, there is exposure to conditions such as dusts, chemicals, and allergens that can affect the respiratory system, eyes or, the skin. Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplied by the Company shall be worn as directed to prevent injury or exposure.
