The Chefs' Warehouse in Columbus, OH is seeking an entry-level processing support role focused on cleaning and sanitizing meat, seafood, and poultry processing areas. You will prepare rooms, operate washing systems, and assist with equipment breakdown and cleaning under supervision, with 1–3 months of experience ideal for the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months of experience in food processing or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare processing room for washing and sanitation.
• Power down machines using approved procedures.
• Break down equipment for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Remove cardboard, trash, and inedibles from processing areas.
• Use high/low pressure wash systems with water temperature between 120–140°F.
• Follow MSDS procedures for detergents and sanitizers.
• Read labels for chemical identification.

Position Summary

Clean, wash and sanitize meat, seafood and poultry processing areas and maintain cleanliness of workspace by performing the following duties.

What You’ll Do

• Prep Processing room for washing
• Power down machines using appropriate procedures
• Break down equipment for cleaning.
• Remove cardboard, trash bags, inedible from processing rooms
• Use high and low pressure water wash systems with water temperature between 120-140F
• Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures
• Ability to read labels for chemical identification

About You

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 months of experience
