Job Description: Sanitation Worker at Wegmans Food Markets

As a member of our Sanitation team, you will use mechanical and sanitation knowledge to efficiently and safely clean production equipment, enabling our operations teams to deliver high-quality products to stores for customers to enjoy. Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, floors, and machinery in processing areas using pressure cleaning and chemical dispensing equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to remove all remnants of products in machines and surrounding areas.
• Maintain sanitation records and cleaning logs.
• Communicate potential issues, concerns, or risks with management to achieve resolution.
• Use proper precautions and protective gear when handling chemicals during cleaning processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with cleaning equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
