Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a dedicated Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe workplace across all areas including dry, cooler, and freezer spaces.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 12:00pm to 8:30pm. Responsibilities include cleaning, janitorial tasks, and completing safety training modules. Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, 6+ months sanitation experience, and passing post-offer drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.
