Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. You will perform general janitorial tasks and support health and safety policies.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, handling cleaning chemicals per hazmat sheets, completing required training, and possibly operating a pallet jack to move refuse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Report all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
