Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation/Warehouse Associate to maintain a clean and safe workplace, supporting food distribution operations.

You will perform janitorial duties in warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer as applicable), follow hazmat guidelines, and participate in health and safety trainings. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months sanitation experience, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely completion of required safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to receptacles.
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
