Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sanitation, Warehouse associate to maintain a clean and safe workplace at our Glen Allen, VA facility. You will support our broadline distribution by performing janitorial tasks across dry, cooler, and freezer areas while following health and safety policies.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 12pm–8:30pm. Responsibilities include cleaning duties, hazard reporting, completing required safety training, and may involve pallet jack operation.

Qualifications

• 6+ months general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• 1+ years general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in warehouse environment
• Pallet jack experience

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Timely and accurate completion of all assigned Pure Safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse.
• Completes all assignments and timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
