Job summary

AFB International is hiring Sanitation Technicians to keep our pet food manufacturing environments clean, safe, and compliant with food-safety standards. You will sanitize production equipment, follow GMPs, and record cleaning activities to support quality and uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of sanitation experience preferred, not required.
• Willing to learn and follow sanitation methods and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and facility areas per procedures.
• Follow GMPs to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
• Record cleaning activities, chemical concentrations, test results, and follow-up tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE properly.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and storage areas.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to sanitize equipment before operation.
• Identify and report potential food safety concerns and take action.
