Job summary

JBS Foods in Greeley, CO is hiring an Hourly Sanitation Support to perform hands-on sanitation tasks in a manufacturing setting. The role requires following sanitation protocols, maintaining clean work areas, and ensuring safety compliance while supporting production with teamwork and reliability.

The position starts at $23.50 per hour and includes benefits such as paid vacation, medical/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan. Evening/night shifts may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• 18 years of age or more.
• Able to work fulltime M-F; Weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Previous experience in sanitation or related field if preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, twisting, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Understand sanitation operations: Perform hand-on sanitation activities, including cleaning, scrubbing and sanitizing, and organizing work areas and equipment.
• Follow established sanitation protocols and procedures to maintain cleanliness and meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and inspect work areas to identify and address sanitation processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
• Safety and compliance: Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations during sanitation processes.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
• Maintain a clean and organized storage area for sanitation supplies and chemicals
• Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements
• Understand pace flow
• Maintain labor standards and pace
• Constant walking and or standing
• Use of hands to fingers

• Reach with hands and arms
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
