The Mennel Milling Company is seeking a sanitation role to carry out sanitation and cleaning operations across the facility in alignment with our Food Safety and Quality statements. The position requires following safety guidelines and maintaining audit-ready conditions daily.

Expected duties include operating equipment safely, cleaning designated areas, handling trash and recycling, and supporting additional assignments as needed. Strong communication and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have solid communication skills and be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Must possess the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Follow all food safety rules and sanitation guidelines (GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, etc.).
• Operate equipment safely and keep designated areas clean.
• Blow down flour accumulation and vacuum as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of break room, restrooms and other areas.
• Empty all trash and recycling containers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to carry out the sanitation and cleaning operations of the entire facility. This position will sustain the Mission and Motto and Food Safety and Quality Statement of the Mennel Milling Company.

PRIMARY WORK SHIFT: Works shift as assigned and overtime as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation.

• Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP’s, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the US FDA Food Safety Modernization Act as stated in the FS&Q Statement, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company as listed in Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and attend all required training sessions. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.
• Responsible for operating all equipment in a safe manner.
• Responsible to keep all designated areas clean.
• Blow down flour accumulation and vacuum accordingly.
• Maintains cleanliness of break room, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Empties all trash and recycle containers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory duties.
