Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Westport is seeking a Sanitation Worker to help maintain high food-safety standards and quality by cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, utensils, and facilities. The role supports the production team and requires meticulous, independent work.

You will be responsible for cleaning, sanitation, and maintaining safety, with opportunities to operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks while following company protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience with sanitation tools and chemicals.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitation of processing walls, floors, and equipment; maintain sanitation per Master Sanitation Program.
• Ensure safety/compliance; monitor chemical levels; report unsatisfactory conditions.
• Maintenance and support; operate equipment; work independently; back up other duties; may become certified on electric pallet jack.
