The Fremont Company is seeking a Sanitation Technician for Paisley Farm in Willoughby, Ohio. This hands-on role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and areas to maintain food safety and quality.

The successful candidate will work with the sanitation team to uphold GMPs and safety guidelines. We value dependability, strong work ethic, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

• Prior sanitation or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to obtain forklift and LOTO certifications as required.
• Ability to work in a wet, chemical-cleaning environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food production equipment, machinery, and work areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow GMPs and food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures before cleaning machinery.
• Inspect areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Prepare equipment/work areas for the next day’s operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
