Job summary

Paisley Farm, part of The Fremont Company, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to keep our Willoughby, Ohio facility clean, safe, and compliant with GMPs. You will operate cleaning equipment, follow procedures, and work with a team to prepare equipment for production.

Prior sanitation or food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, and basic safety certifications may be obtained on the job. Join a hands-on team dedicated to quality and safety in a fast-paced food manufacturing

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals, pressure hoses, foamers, and sanitation equipment safely.
• Follow procedures to maintain food safety and prevent cross-contamination.
• Perform equipment lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before cleaning machinery.
• Inspect areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Prepare production equipment and areas for the next day’s operations.
• Follow GMPs, food safety procedures, and company safety guidelines.
• Wear required PPE and follow chemical handling procedures.
• Work independently and with the sanitation team to complete daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Looking for a hands-on position where your work makes a difference? Paisley Farm, part of The Fremont Company, is looking for dependable and hardworking Sanitation Technicians to join our food manufacturing team in Willoughby, Ohio!

As a Sanitation Technician, you'll play an essential role in keeping our production facility clean, safe, and ready to produce the high-quality food products our customers know and love.

What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize food production equipment, machinery, and work areas.
• Use cleaning chemicals, pressure hoses, foamers, and sanitation equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures to maintain food safety and prevent cross-contamination.
• Perform equipment lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures before cleaning machinery.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Help prepare production equipment and work areas for the next day's operations.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety procedures, and company safety guidelines.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow chemical handling procedures.
• Work independently and alongside other sanitation team members to complete daily cleaning assignments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous sanitation or food manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn sanitation procedures, chemical safety, and equipment lockout/tagout.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment involving water, cleaning chemicals, and wet surfaces.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to obtain forklift and LOTO certifications as required.
• Dependability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
