Job summary

McCormick & Company is hiring a Sanitor at the Dallas, TX Plant. You will perform continuous sanitation of equipment and production areas, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and contributing to a tour-ready facility.

Under supervision, you will troubleshoot, transport chemicals safely, and use SAP/Excel for tracking. This role requires hands-on work, some climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• PIT license and ability to operate PIT equipment (forklifts and manlifts).
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety handling.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move around production areas.
• Ability to access various equipment and infrastructure areas (stairs, ladders).

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and areas in clean, orderly condition per standards.
• Operate equipment with power washers, foamers, and HVLP hoses.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes; handle and transport chemicals safely.
• Move materials using manual and PIT methods.
• Use SAP, Traksys, ESIS, ASIS, Excel, and tracking logs.
• Execute Master Sanitation Schedule and perform inspections.
• Work independently or in teams; apply root-cause analysis to improve processes.
• Operate powered industrial machinery to clean production and non-production areas.
