Job summary

Somafina in Layton, UT is seeking a Sanitation Associate to perform daily sanitation of machine parts, tools, and utensils, and to keep all facilities free from contamination. The role also restocks PPE gowning rooms, PPE Kanban kits, and PPE shelves.

Responsibilities include cleaning, waste disposal, and maintaining clean PPE storage areas; you will help with general facility upkeep, housekeeping, and safety compliance in a fast-paced nutraceutical manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation of machine parts, tools, and utensils in the daily maintenance program.
• Maintain PPE gowning rooms, PPE Kanban kits, and PPE supply shelves.
• Remove trash and keep work areas and walkways clean and orderly.
• Perform housekeeping of washrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and closets.
• Assist in production room cleaning and monitor air handling vents.
