Job summary

Danone is hiring a Sanitation Associate in Eugene, OR, offering a Saturday–Tuesday swing shift from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM at a rate of $24.59 per hour. The role focuses on maintaining sanitation standards, chemical handling, and record keeping to support high-quality production.

You will work under GMP and SOP guidelines, perform routine cleaning and equipment lubrication, and help maintain MSS records while staying flexible for a 24x7 plant schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Six months of work experience showing accuracy, dependability, and teamwork, ideally in food production.
• Basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages, and ratios.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to suggest changes to increase production, improve quality, increase efficiency, and reduce waste while enhancing safety.
• Flexibility to support a 24x7 manufacturing plant, including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with GMP, SOP and safety practices and policies.
• Conduct routine cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of equipment using chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Maintain written sanitation records, including Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Follow specifications, policies, and procedures to guarantee uniformity and adherence to cleaning standards.
• Receive chemicals and properly maintain the chemical storage area and CIP room.
• Perform sanitation PMs, MSS, and tasks.
• Support Mix Room batching and staging of materials, as needed.
• Fill in in production areas when time allows and in areas where employees have attained skills.
