Job summary

Sysco in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a dedicated sanitation associate to maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment in alignment with Preferred Work Methods (PWM) and company safety standards.

You will remove trash, operate scrubbers, clean surfaces, sanitize restrooms and offices, and follow daily schedules to support uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Previous sanitation experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate power scrubber, walk-behind scrubber and other warehouse equipment.

• Follow the daily schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a continuous sanitation maintenance program.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, etc.

• Sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, and locker rooms.
• Follow the daily schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a continuous sanitation maintenance program.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.

Experience

• Previous sanitation experience within a warehouse environment, highly preferred.
