Job summary

Cherry Republic is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to coordinate and perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sanitation of production equipment, as well as cleaning and maintenance of Cherry Factory and Distribution Fulfillment Center.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and teamwork. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and be capable of lifting 50–70 lbs, with basic computer skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Minimum of High School / GED required.
• Language Skills: Read, analyze, and interpret instructions.
• Mathematical Skills: Calculate figures and amounts when analyzing data.
• Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and communicate issues clearly.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for daily tasks.
• Physical Requirements: Walk/stand for long periods and lift 50–70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule and complete sanitation of production equipment daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Perform nightly rinsing, cleaning and sanitation of equipment in production areas.
• Clean and disinfect floors, drains, mats in production rooms.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for sanitation as needed.
• Track chemicals and sanitation supplies as part of maintenance records.
• Maintain cleanliness of Cherry Factory, DFC, restrooms, break rooms and test kitchen.
• Adhere to safety standards and OSHA regulations; operate safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
