Job summary

Voyant Beauty is seeking a Manufacturing Sanitation role to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the production facilities. You will perform comprehensive sanitization procedures, monitor cleanliness, and manage waste to maintain a hygienic environment.

The role requires operating and maintaining equipment, coordinating with maintenance, and completing documentation per SOP. Health and safety compliance and teamwork are essential in this on-site position in Olive Branch, MS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in sanitation/manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and pass forklift test (Preferred).
• Ability to move 45 gallon drums and stand, lift, bend, reach during shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all manufacturing equipment and facilities per SOP.
• Dismantle, clean, and sanitize production equipment and reassemble.
• Clean and sanitize mixing and holding tanks according to SOP; include confined space rules.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment repairs.
• Complete documentation per procedures and sampling plans for Chemistry and Micro labs.
• Maintain/prepare cleaning solutions as required.
• Retrieve bulk release stickers and transfer bulks to holding tanks & fillers.
• Ensure equipment has correct identification and status labels.
• Monitor cleanliness standards and health regulation compliance.
• Conduct regular hygiene and equipment checks.
• Train new staff on sanitization protocols and safety measures.
• Complete validations on filling/compounding equipment when required.
• Safely drive a tow motor as required.
• Assist line mechanics during 12 hr filler cleaning.
• Comply with GMP, SOPs, safety standards and plant policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and organize the workspace.
• Other duties as assigned; some vary by location.
