Litehouse Foods in Kootenai, Idaho is seeking a Sanitation Technician I to support food safety and facility cleanliness. Shift is Wed–Sat, 7:30pm–6:00am, with starting pay $19.06 per hour and additional shift differentials.

You will clean and sanitize production equipment, maintain areas, document tasks, follow safety policies, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation. The role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Mechanical aptitude: able to identify issues during equipment cleaning.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and documentation.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize food storage containers, tanks, and production equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in multiple facility areas
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment using chemicals and water systems
• Inspect completed sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with standards
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Adhere to food safety policies and report any safety or quality concerns
• Contribute to overall facility cleanliness and sanitation
• Work overtime and weekends as needed to support production demands
• Perform other duties as assigned
