Job summary

Chesapeake Spice Co Llc is seeking a 3rd shift custodian/portero to perform routine room and equipment cleaning for the next day’s production. You will wash down production rooms, clean mixers and equipment, operate a floor scrubber, and store tools properly.

The role requires reading and writing English, physical stamina, and ability to work in a high-temperature, noisy environment. The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and occasional overtime

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as custodian or porter preferred.
• Able to work 3rd shift (10:30pm–7:00am).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash down production rooms and equipment.
• Clean mixers and equipment to standards.
• Use floor scrubber and return tools to storage.
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and detergents.
• Work in a noisy, dusty environment with spices and heat.
