Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform sanitation duties and operate cleaning equipment.
• Able to work 12-hour day shifts and follow sanitation SOPs.
• Comply with FDA/OSHA Abbott policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes.
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment and facilities; operate floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc.
• Prevent cross contamination of product and surfaces during sanitation procedures.
• Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility.
• Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before supervisor approval.
• Removal of trash/garbage, mopping, cleaning floor drains and exterior areas.
• Complete sanitation and work order documentation.
• Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools.
• Maintain sanitation equipment including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and related tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned by sanitation supervisor.
