Job summary

Express Employment of Covina is seeking a Sanitation Technician for our client in City of Industry, CA. This position offers Full Time or Part Time status with shifts 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Mon-Fri and additional Sun-Thu schedule.

You will perform sanitation duties and maintain clean, safe production areas. Responsibilities include following SSOPs and GMPs, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting daily production readiness.

Qualifications

• Sanitation or janitorial experience.
• Comfortable with cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Able to lift and move heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Follow sanitation and safety procedures (SSOPs and GMPs).
• Disassemble and reassemble processing equipment for deep cleaning.
• Remove debris from machinery, floors, and work areas before washing.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and rooms using hoses, scrubbers, and chemicals.
• Properly handle and store chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Dispose of waste materials safely and correctly.
• Complete daily sanitation logs and report issues to the supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the facility is ready for the next day’s production.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Sanitation Lead or Supervisor.

Express Employment of Covina, CA is seeking a Sanitation Technician for our client located inthe City of Industry.

NEW Full Time | Part Time

Pay Rate: $1 9 . 67 - $22.01HR per hour, depending on experience

ShiftHours : Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:30AM

Sun-Thurs and 4pm-12:30am (Sunday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM)

What You’ll Do:

• Follow all sanitation and safety procedures (SSOPs and GMPs)
• Disassemble and reassemble processing equipment for deep cleaning
• Remove debris from machinery, floors, and work areas before washing
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, equipment, and rooms using hoses, foamers, scrubbers, and cleaning chemicals
• Properly handle and store chemicals according to safety guidelines
• Dispose of waste materials safely and correctly
• Complete daily sanitation logs and report any issues to the supervisor
• Work as part of a team to ensure the facility is ready for the next day’s production
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Sanitation Lead or Supervisor

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous sanitation or janitorial experience (dairy or food manufacturing preferred)
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and industrial equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Can lift and move heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in cold or warm conditions
• Basic math skills for measurements and chemical mixing
• Willing to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Fast-paced food production facility
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, and varying temperatures (cold to warm)
• Requires use of protective gear (gloves, boots, goggles, etc.)
