Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be part of the Sanitation Department supporting production, quality, and food safety teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a physically active environment.
Pay Rate: $17-17.25
Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of food production equipment, machinery, and facility areas using industrial power washers, foamers, and sanitation equipment.
Disassemble machinery and equipment components, thoroughly wash and sanitize parts, and reassemble equipment following cleaning procedures.
Use high-pressure water systems and approved cleaning chemicals to remove food residue and maintain food safety standards.
Follow GMP, SQF, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), chemical handling, and PPE requirements at all times.
Complete sanitation documentation and support housekeeping, allergen control, waste removal, and continuous improvement initiatives.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Comfortable working in a wet environment while regularly using hoses, power washers, and cleaning chemicals.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work on your feet for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
Ability to work a 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including every other weekend and overtime as needed.
