Santa Monica Seafood is seeking a Sanitation Tech to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the facility.
You will clean production equipment, handle chemicals safely, dispose of waste correctly, and follow GMP and HACCP guidelines while cooperating with teammates in a fast-paced environment. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods in a cold environment.

As a Sanitation Tech, you are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the facility. This includes cleaning equipment, production areas, and work surfaces to ensure a safe, sanitary, and efficient environment that meets regulatory and company standards.
Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to supervisors.
Work involves bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
Proficient understanding of cleaning procedures and safe chemical handling.
Ability to safely use pressure washers, floor scrubbers, foggers, and other sanitation tools.
