Job Details

Job Location: Berje Inc - Carteret, NJ

Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily cleaning of office areas including emptying trash receptacles and vacuuming carpets
• Daily cleaning of floor surfaces in lobby, hallways, and break rooms
• Daily cleaning of food handling areas in both break rooms
• Cleaning of break room coffee equipment and preparing coffee several times daily
• Daily cleaning and re-supplying of office area bathrooms
• Daily cleaning of the Ladies locker room
• Following directions on assignments from Lead Porter
• Performing other porter tasks as assigned
• Following all safety rules and procedures to maintain an accident-free record
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant SQF procedures and regulations
• Ability to work overtime and on Saturdays if needed
• Ability to work alone without supervision
• Effective communication skills

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills and computer use
• Minimum two years of experience as an Order Filler, Material Handler, or in a similar role
• Experience in the Flavor & Fragrance Industry preferred

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Ability to follow a daily routine and complete tasks independently
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
• Proficiency with various cleaning tools and equipment
• Fluency in English speaking and reading
