Sanitation Team Member

Day Shift

Pay Rate: $19.79/HR

The Sanitation position is responsible for production and non-production areas of the plant, as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), working to prevent product contamination and adulteration, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety.

This role involves cleaning from ceilings to floors and includes training to operate a forklift and a scissor lift. Responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning all manufacturing equipment, using chemicals and power washers, maintaining sanitation cleaning logs, and cleaning office areas, hallways, locker rooms, break rooms, trash removal, vacuuming, and outdoor grounds maintenance as needed (including snow removal in walkways). Additional duties may be assigned.

What you bring to the party:

Education and Work Experience

• Prior experience in industrial cleaning with industrial power-washing equipment and chemical cleaning are a plus, and/or janitorial services cleaning.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration, loud noise, allergens, elevated heights, and hot surfaces.
