Zing Recruiting is partnered with a global flavors manufacturer in the Bedford Park area and seeks a 3rd Shift Sanitation Team Lead. The role leads daily sanitation for production equipment, ensuring GMP and safety standards are met, and coordinating CIP, scrubbers, and drum washers across shifts.

The incumbent will train sanitation staff, supervise inventory, and document safety/quality concerns, supporting production to keep facilities clean and compliant.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
• Prior sanitation or cleaning operations experience required.
• Previous lead or team coordination experience preferred.
• Powered Industrial Truck experience preferred.
• In-house fork truck certification required.

Mansioni

Zing Recruiting is partnered with a global manufacturer in the flavors industry and is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation Team Lead to join their team in the Bedford Park area.

Shift:

3rd shift: 10pm-630am
Monday through Friday.

Starting Pay:

$27-$30 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate daily sanitation activities for production equipment and facility areas.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, AIB, OSHA, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and company safety standards.
• Operate and oversee sanitation equipment, including CIP systems, scrubbers, and drum washers.
• Conduct inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and audit readiness.
• Train and support sanitation staff on procedures, chemical handling, PPE, and safety practices.

Requirements:

Technical Skills

• SAP bar coding/scanning experience preferred.
• Basic PC and data entry skills.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation chemicals, cleaning procedures, and food safety standards.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and communicate effectively across shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs or 50 kg.
