Job summary

De Silva Brothers & Company is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to own the sanitation program across lines, rooms, and equipment. You will verify cleaning, manage MSS/SSOPs, and ensure records pass SQF, Kosher, customer, and regulatory audits.

In a dry spice environment with frequent changeovers, you will protect allergen and pathogen control while ensuring equipment is released only when truly clean and ready for production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sanitation experience in food manufacturing, including team lead.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, allergen control, and food safety requirements.
• Experience with sanitation chemicals, concentrations, and safe handling.
• Proven record of accurate, timely sanitation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) for all equipment and areas.
• Write, update, and validate SSOPs including dry cleaning methods for spices.
• Plan sanitation windows with production scheduler to avoid delays.
• Lead sanitation leads and associates; train and schedule the team.
