Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor sanitation cleaning procedures.
  2. Manage employee relations, including hiring, training, and disciplining.
  3. Instruct and coach employees on proper use of protective equipment.
  4. Develop new sanitation procedures and protocols.
  5. Ensure proper safety procedures are followed by sanitation employees.
  6. Train employees in safety and health practices.
  7. Follow company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  8. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality due to the collaborative nature of the work environment.

Job Specifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of sanitation experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic PC skills required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Refrigerated food manufacturing plant environment.
  • Temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F, with wet or dry conditions.
  • Frequent exposure to hazardous materials and waste.
  • Frequent lifting, kneeling, and bending with items up to 80 lbs.
  • Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities.
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.

This position is eligible for a bonus based on company performance.
