Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for the Newburyport, MA facility on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 5pm–3am). You will lead a sanitation team to meet SSOPs, HACCP, and GMP standards, ensuring a clean, safe manufacturing environment and supporting pest control and audits.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in a relevant field, 3+ years in QA/sanitation, 2+ years in a supervisory role, and bilingual English/Spanish. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in food science, microbiology, or food safety.
• 3+ years in QA or sanitation within food manufacturing.
• 2+ years in supervisory or team-leader roles.
• Education/experience may substitute to meet qualifications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to clean and sanitize production lines per SSOPs.
• Implement sanitation procedures and training per program.
• Monitor staff performance and attendance; provide feedback.
• Handle chemicals safely and organize sanitation supplies.
• Oversee pest control scheduling and activities.
• Track sanitation KPIs and compliance; assist audits.
• Train staff on SSOPs, GMPs, and safety standards.
• Maintain sanitation records and inspections.
