H. T. PROF Group is seeking a sanitation supervisor for the 3rd shift at our Bedford Park, IL facility to own sanitation operations on the production floor. This is a hands-on, floor‑first role where leadership is exercised on the line rather than from an office.

Ideal candidates will have extensive sanitation leadership in food manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to train, coach, and drive compliance while maintaining output and safety standards on a large site.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sanitation leadership experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing sanitation experience required.
• Hands-on leadership style with production floor presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a sanitation team on 3rd shift across a large food manufacturing facility.
• Maintain compliance with all sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive accountability and consistency across the shift through direct floor presence and active team engagement.
• Coordinate sanitation schedules, chemical usage, and equipment cleaning protocols.
• Partner with production and quality teams to ensure sanitation standards are met without disrupting output.
• Train, coach, and develop team members on proper procedures and safety standards.
• Document sanitation activity and maintain accurate compliance records.

Overview

A well-established food manufacturer in the Chicago south suburbs is looking for an experienced sanitation supervisor to take ownership of third‑shift sanitation operations.

This is a floor‑first role. The expectation is that you are present, visible, and leading from the production floor, not managing from an office. The culture here is hands‑on and team‑driven, and the incoming supervisor needs to match that energy from day one.

What the Job Involves

• Lead and supervise a sanitation team on 3rd shift across a large food manufacturing facility
• Maintain compliance with all sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements

What They Need
