Job summary

Primex Farms, LLC is seeking a Sanitation II to perform advanced cleaning and sanitation throughout the pistachio processing facility in Wasco, CA. You will ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, allergen controls, and safety standards while maintaining a clean production environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment and facilities, following chemical labels, documenting results, supporting cross‑functional teams, and adhering to PPE and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and safety documentation.
• Experience with GMP/HACCP and food safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow chemical labels to ensure safe application, use, and disposal.
• Clean and sanitize equipment using approved chemicals and power washers.
• Clean facility floors, overhead structures, conveyors, and hard-to-reach areas.
• Gather and empty trash containers throughout the facility.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitation purposes.
• Inspect equipment and facilities for cleanliness and safety.
• Document inspection and sanitation results accurately and timely.
• Follow all safety policies, GMP/HACCP procedures, and allergen controls.
• Wear required PPE at all times while performing duties.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform additional duties as assigned.
